System intruded chassis open or tempered please check system

    I got an error message like this and whenever i restart my PC, this message appears and will not go away unless I clear the BIOS every time. any ideas?

    Hi

    Enter your BIOS and check for chassis Intrusion option to disable.

    What motherboard do you have as it could have a jumper for chassis intrusion that has its cap come loose, especially if been moving or changing hardware in PC, get motherboard manual and will have location of jumper pins and what pins to put the cap on to short out the intrusion option ( shorting out with a jumper cap is disable this option ).

    Thank you Halo! I'm cleaning up someone's computer and the computer was open message at the beginning was annoying. That shut the computer up. This is the first computer I've seen that message appear.

    No problems, glad that helped, yes annoying a hell, our Dells in work have same so disabled now, plus have noticed when building my own PCs many motherboards have this option, just not used by the majority of home or system builder.
