Ok I have no idea what the crap is wrong with this stupid computer of mine.

Right now, the "system" task is taking 2 of my 4 cores on my CPU...thats not suposed to happen -_-... ive ran AntiVir, and SUPERANTI like 10 times. Its not finding anything!

Oh, to make matters worse... this may be caused from the 1000 bsod's i get but. For some reason the computer seems to think i changed the boot devices, which i didnt. and then, it tells me to go to setup to change it. Fine.. but when i hit "del" to get to it. the comp just locks up. and im screwed.

Please help...this thing has been slowly getting worse and worse as the days go bye... more problems every day...even opening firefox triggers like a chain reaction of errors and problems which cause me to restart, wich makes ANOTHER bsod...

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

    Hi

From your description of errors and 1000 BSODs!!! then I would be backing up my important files and settings etc and doing a clean install of Windows 7 as it seems you have multiple issues that are likely not easily fixed.

We could troubleshoot this but the lenght of time to try and find a cause from multiple BSODs (are they the same BSOD message or multiple different ones) would outweigh the quickness of backing up and re-installing,

Do you think doing a Repair would fix any of it? most of the problems started when a windows update stopped installing halfway. I would really rather not do a clean install. Well actualy, I really wish i could. But im on dial-up and most of my stuff would take FOREVER to get back.

If a repair would work, i will try...but do you think that would fix my problem? or atleast most of em.

note: The bsod's are almost always IRQL_NOT less or equal something...blah and like every once in a blue moon theres one with a intel sys file or something.

What update was stopped or interrupted?
May be trying to complete.Might try downloading from another, faster machine onto a USB thumbdrive, then installing to your machine from the thumbdrive.

Thats the problem. I don't know what update it was. I tried checking update history, and it says all the of updates installed correctly. Doesnt give me the option to uninstall them either.

Like i asked before. Would a repair fix my problem? or maybe fix it? and...what exactly does the repair thing do? If it does what i think it does, it just re-installs W7 without formatting the HDD. Or maybe im wrong, a explanation would be nice...in simple terms.
