system restore and spyware etc.

    If system restore is on and creates restore points, does it save viruses and spyware at those restore points. I know you are supposed to turn off system restore when cleaning your system. I was just curious and concerned about old restore points that may have been created while your computer was infected. Do these tools clean those out as well. Is there a way to remove restore points if you feel they may have been made in that time period.

    Yes! That is why we have you disable System Restore. Because many restore points could be infected. Disabling System Restore deletes all restore points. When you renable, you start making new ones. If you PC is clean at that point, so are your new restore points.
