Hello All, I' m running Vista home premium (64 bit) in a Toshiba Satellite (A505 S6960). I recently found that my System Restore was not working. I click on it and it comes up Red X'd. I then go in and create a Res. Pt., it creates new, I click O.K., it shows up as created w/ time and date. I click O.K. and go back to check and it's gone and says "None" next to the C drive string. Also the Toshiba System box isn't checked for restoring, should it be? I also tried doing a System Backup and it wouldn't take? I know they're connected in some way? I need a step by step method to correct this. I've followed some Microsoft forum tips and found many conflicting remedies. I'm worried that without Sys. Res. I may be in big poo! Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Ahead, Peace, Rich M.
