system wont boot crahes on avgidesh

I have windows 7 system. and had a few issues over past few days with it connecting to the internet. this morning the laptop will not boot.
have tried booting in safe mode and crashes at avgidseh.sys
i am running avg anti virus and have sas installed as well
have tried last know good config no luck
have tried to do system restore but it wont find any of my restore points only the original. 2009.
i have the option of restoring back to factory.
i have managed to get ubuntu on a flash drive and can see my files etc
i am thinking that i have a virus within the system but cant log in to run virus removal tools.

Try moving avgidseh.sys from c:\windows\system32\drivers to another location using Ubuntu.
