I do not use Norton AV but was wondering if any of the other programs on this disk would be useful enough to install them?

 

Norton Utilities is pretty cool.

 

I tend to stay away from Norton products, doesn't detect all viruses and the when I had it 2 years back, I was hacked twice in my yearly subscription. Now using Blackice and AVG and getting far better results.

 

he said he wasn't going to use NAV, he just wanted to know if there was anything else cool on the disc.

 

GoBack is very good too if it's on the CD.

 

I think there is ghost on it too, is that any good?

 

Ghost is good and is used to create an image of your Hard Drive so it can be restored.

It's up to you if you think that is useful for your needs.

I've used Norton Ghost before and that's it, don't like any of the rest of it and I believe many others have found that too.

 

I don't understand Norton Utilities has nothing to do with NAV

 

Sorry my mistake, on my friends forum something very similar is going on and I'm getting confused!!!

 

I've got a old version of SystemWorks so cannot comment on 2003. However I use Speeddisk nearly evry day and WinDoctor around once a week. Would not be without them.
Use Avast as my anti-virus product. Bazza
