I'm becoming more aware of problems involved in unintalling Norton software. I have Norton SysteWorks 2003 Pro (which includes Norton Antivirus). I've had it installed nearly 2 years, & I'm thinking of upgrading by the end of the year. But I've seen postings on other sites with horror strories regarding trying to uninstall SystemWorks using conventional Add/Remove; I guess it makes a mess & trying to install a new version of SystemWorks and/or Antivirus often results in problems. Without going into the registry (well over my head), what are any of your suggestions? I still have the SystemWorks installation CD, & I'm wondering if the complete uninstall can be done using it potentially. Any advice is appreciated.

I had the "pleasure" of uninstalling SystemWorks from my PC. Star hit it on the head, remove by their instructions only. I tried with Add/Remove  and my computer went to the devil instantly. I had to re-install and then remove by hand. It's a chore. I won't even let a Norton disc in the same room with my box just in case!!
