TA880GB+ motherboard

    I am a noob at building computers. I bought the Biostar TA880GB+ and for the life of me can not figure out where to plug in the ribbon cable for the CD/DVD drives. HELP! (Please tell me there is one!) :yum

    There is no IDE connectors on that motherboard.
    See the 6 red slots at the lower left? Those are 6 x SATA2 3Gb/s Connector
    Your drives must be SATA.

    Thanks plodr.

    I didn't realize the CD/DVD drives were SATA now too. I thought it was odd that someone would want to put 6 hard drives on the board! lol Too busy trying to save $ using old components!
