Tabbed Browsing

I have IE7 and MSN Toolbar. I would like to take advantage of the tabbed browsing feature but it doesn't seem to work as I thought it should.

I thought if I click a link from a window I am in it would open another tab? Is there something I need to do. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It opens it in a new window. Regardless of what site I am at. Please help.

no i think in the default settings, you need to right click the link and select open in a new tab.

edit - i've posted a screenshot below. you might be able to change settings? in ie, tools, internet options, (near the bottom) tabs (settings button). - sos

It's a setting.

Tools > Internet Options > In Tabs Section hit 'Settings' > Under 'Open links from other programs in' make sure 'a new tab in current window' is selected

Also make sure you have "enabled tabbed browsing"

EDIT: Sorry...sosaman is right. You need to right click and select open in new tab.

I have the settings like you say. It's just that before whenever I clicked a link in my current window it would open it in another tab, not a window or the same window. I had to restore everything now it doesn't do that anymore. :cry
