Tagasauras and task manager

Hi, After my sons computer was hijacked and inundated with popups we ran spybot. We cannot get tagasaruas off and when rebooting and running again all the other problems start to come back. I found directions for manual removing and then discovered that my task manager had been disabled. I followed directions for enabling it, but no matter how many times I have deleted the registry entry for disabling it becomes disabled again and I cannot access task manager. Short of reloading the computer, I am out of ideas. Any suggestions?
