takes so long!!

Hi there,

My laptop is taking forever to boot up and I wondered if I had caught something nasty.

I have been through the 8 steps and nothing discovered other than a few tracking cookies. The panda, bitdefender were clear with nothing detected

attached bits where created

Can you help please..... its taking half a customer meeting just to boot the thing up... gives me little chance to do the presentation and win the business arrghh hey ho

Using Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel; uninstall the following:

Install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 available here at Major Geeks.

Delete the following:
C:\m23apdfj.tmp.X

Empty the Norton Protected Recycle Bin
Empty the Recycle Bin
Run CCleaner

There is nothing in your logs to suggest that this is Malware. However, your Norton installation appears to be broken. You may need to uninstall Norton, reboot, and then install Norton.
