   My wife's Toshiba laptop is showing high cpu usage.
   
   When I open task manager and click the performance tab I see the cpu usage history 'sometimes' has a split screen, or two screens running at the same time.
   
   ???????? Is this a problem?

   If you go to View>CPU history you can set it for one graph for each CPU. It means that you have a dual core processor.
