    Hello,

I have a problem with my TD Ameritrade Streamer. I am using a Hughesnet Satellite Internet Broadband Connection. My Streamer clock is 1-5 minutes behind my PC's clock and the quotes are slow as well. I am using Java Runtime Environment 5 Update 6. (I already know that Java RE 5.7 & 5.8 cause problems with TD Ameritrade's Streamer. Jave RE 5.6 works fine.)

I've spoken with and emailed TD Ameritrade's Customer Service and I've tried what seem like EVERYTHING. They keep saying it's probably the satellite connection. *(Hughesnet DOES advise you not to use an online stock broker with their connection due to a 2 second delay to beam up and back info with the satellite. HOWEVER, I have a friend who has the exact same set up as I do, and he uses TD Ameritrade Streamers with NO PROBLEMS except the advertised 2 second delay. I've asked him for help and we cannot find the problem. I can deal with a 2 second delay when trading stocks but NOT a 1-5 MINUTE delay.

    I'm at my wit's end....

PLEASE, PLEASE, anyone who may have ANY suggestions or advice, besides go back to Dial-Up, please let me know.

    Thank you so much,
