I did not install this. And when I go to either Program folder in the C directory it is not there. Neither is it in the Settings/Program and Features panel. How do I get this off my computer? And what should I check to see how this got on my computer? Thank you.
P.S I've left it there because there would be no way I could access this for future troubleshooting right now as there is no uninstall anywhere..

Is it an icon on your desktop? If so, right click it and choose properties....it will tell you the path to it. Let me know.

No desktop icon. But upon right clicking the icon in the taskbar (glad I kept it open!) and clicking Properties I get C:\..AppData\Roaming\QTUdate. There files there are:
    QTConnect.exe
    TeamViewer.ini
    TeamViewer_Desktop.exe
    TeamViewer_Resource_en.dll
    TeamViewer_StaticRes.dll

Should I just delete the whole folder?

Yes, if you don't have a need for it.

I deleted the folder on out last speaking day which was last Friday. Today, Monday this alert popped up:
"One or more of your TeamViewer version are missing or have been modified. Please reinstall Teamviewer."

    What is checking for this?"
And how do I stop this from checking?
And why, if there is no installed Program File (it was just a free standing folder) does it feel the need to check for it?

Su when I OK that warning Teamviewer reappears on my desktop even even though I deleted the entire folder last Friday. And all of the files I delete are back as well!

In the back of my mind I'm thinking it's all nefarious though I ran Malewarebytes and came up with nothing.

Then I will need you to follow the READ and RUN FIRST instructions and attach the requested logs.

Between this post and the last I ran some other cleaning programs as well so the logs may not reflect the original situation.

    Use RogueKiller to delete this:
    [PUP.Gen1 (Potentially Malicious)] (shortcut) TnT2.lnk -- C:\Users\teeli\Desktop\APPS\TnT2.lnk => C:\Program Files (x86)\TnT2\TnT2.exe -> Found

The Delete everything found by Hitman.

Reboot and rescan with both Roguekiller and Hitman. I would also like you to attach the log from running MGTools.exe
