TeaTimer Won't Stay Disabled

    I'm following the steps outlined in the Malware Removal guide here on majorgeeks.
    I got to the second step where you use Spybot and it says NOT to install Teatimer (this was not mentioned in the first dowload programs section). So I have Teatimer installed. The second step then goes on to say that if you have installed it already to disable it and then gives the steps to do that.
    But when I do that I get a message from Spybot saying "denied (based on user decision) value "SpybotSD TeaTimer" (new data:) deleted in System Startup user entry!"
    and when I reboot and check Resident section Teatimer has been rechecked!
    I'm using Spybot v1.6.0.30.
    Should I just uninstall Spybot and reinstall or what?

    Hi

    In Step 1 it states "Now download the below tools ( PLEASE only download at this point ):" then comes the install instructions per application.

    But yes to your question, I would uninstall then re-instal Spybot as per http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=138531
