Ok guys, I need some help.

I have to come up with some form of question sheet for work for our end of day communication with the boss.

We have to email the boss at the end of the day and tell him certain things.

Examples : What did you sell?
    What colours sell best?
How much does the average customer wish to pay?

    etc etc.

What I would like is this in a file that is copy/paste-able into an email.
But I would also like it so it is laid out like a questionnaire, so each Q in it's own box with a blank space for the answer.
I would also like it to work with the Tab key shifting it from Q to Q.

He will be reading it in an email, usually on a phone.
It cannot be an attachment, the text with boxes needs to be pasted into an email .

I'm basically trying to give the boss what he wants while making it quick and easy to use for the rest of the staff who are largely PC illiterate.... but all Facebook pro's :-D
    Any ideas?

My only thought is something along the lines of Adobe Acrobat, where a PDF file can be sent, the blanks filled in and then forwarded to the boss.

Sadly, I had to send in one of these forms (along with about $700) yesterday to the State Comptroller's Office to pay quarterly sales tax. :cry

I made one before in Word, pretty much exactly like I'm talking about, I was just hoping for something that doesn't require me to constantly explain to everyone NOT to save it when they close it, but just copy and paste, close and don't save.

I think a fillable form in pdf too. You can copy and paste it as text. Make it a form that can't be saved so they can't mess up the master. Should be fairly idiot proof.

It can be done in word but with the saving control that you have in Adobe, I don't think. You can make it a template if you want to. Insert a table and it will tab from line to line. Protect the document with the option "Filling in forms"

I opened a sample form from Microsoft by using Word 2007 and going to New > Forms > Personal Forms > selected one named Personal Data Form For Trip. It is 2 columns and should be easy to adjust to what you need. In older Word you might need to look in the microsoft site for the template
