Technology is converging and portable satellite navigation is the proof

Looks like they are making these sat nav unit now so that they control all of the multimedia in your car i.e. your cell phone, radio, ipod, etc. What is good b/c technology is contantly being upgraded and changing so whatever changes whether it's your car, your phone, your ipod, or whatever new device they make in a few years... your tomtom unit will be compatible with it or upgraded to be compatible with it!

I use a TT 910 which has bluetooth and mp3 capability so it is already combining the technology of my phone and muisc files that are downloaded from my computer

It sound like tomtom is only going to increase there relationship with the automotive industry......

Geeee....that would def be freaky if the government used a chip to monitor you. Now that I think about it they could already being doing that with cell phones. I'm getting to the point where my TT 910 sat nav unit is almost as important to me as my celly. I checked it for gov tracking chips and didn't find any...lol

 

DeviceDemon now who do you think installed and monitors the SatNav system??? If you guessed the US Military, you'd be right. Who issued the law to equip all tires with RF Tags??? US Government. Who monitors ALL phone calls World Wide??? Yep you got it right again the US Government. Right now they are talking about having a National ID chip implanted in all US citizens, ostensibly to stop the "Terrorist Threat".

There is already a system set up to fingerprint and store DNA samples of all convicted felons.

The same system can be used by parents to store info on their kids to help locate runaways and kidnap victims.

The obvious next step is implanted chips.

Then of course double-speak and SOMA for everyone.

I saw on the news from the uk yesterday the government are talking about sattelite techno to do a system where you have a black box in your car and everytime you use it there is a charge for each mile.
that is only a short step from what you where saying ;ie BIG BROTHER
