Tele Atlas in 5-yr deal to provide maps to Google

    Yes seems a win win for both Google maps and TomTom users, as it may save some ending up in rivers!

    Would be even better news if they get a navigation app for the iPhone though reading that story, which would make me more go for one of them to combine everything, iPod touch I have has google maps which is nice some long as you haev wifi connection and have found it great while in London to find places.

    techcrunch is also saying that the user input from google maps will be streamlined into the tele atlas maps. that'll be awesome... one step closer to making maps open source. i think everyone would benefit
