I just put in a new hard drive into my PC. The other locked up due to the lovely
XP Service Pack 2 install. I can still access my other hard drive. Here's my problem. Not really a problem, more of an annoyance. As I surf the web, I noticed that sometimes a temp file will show up on my desktop. Here is a sample of one. ADS6FF.tmp. Is there a setting for me to use to stop this? Thanks in advance.

    Try this:

    Open Control Panel:System

Then click the Advanced tab. Click Environment variables at bottom. Then you can see where the temp and tmp folder is. You can also change it.
