Temp Monitor Software

This is probably like the stupidest question anyone could answer but I need an answer guys? And no stupidest is not a word, I made it up. I wonder if anyone knows a good software that tells you the exact temp of your CPU and HardDrive? I know you could go to the bios and get that but I don't think is acurrate. Well I hope someone could answer my stupid questions, and a Thanks in advace is said.

 

you can google for speedfan which is what i use or everest. my asus m/b came with asus pc probe but wont let me install it lol go figure. there might be others but those are 2 i remember.

Generally Bios provides good info, I would try few utilities & compair.

 

not all harddrives have a temperature moniter

 

Good point, Butt, Most any made in the last few yrs will.

Same is true for other hardware.
For any hardware to be monitored, fan speed, temp, whatever, it ofcourse must have a sensor.
