Temporary Fodler

Whenever i open something rather than saving it like a game patch it says downloading to "Temporary Folder". I want to delete the patches after i have installed them but i cant find this foler. I have windows Xp can some one please give me the directory address. Ive looked for it in windows explorer but cant find it.

The files are more than likely going to you Temorary Internet Files folder. There is one for each user account. Like:

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

By the way, this is not a spyware related issue.

I dont think so i looked there already. Plus when Im open it it says "Temporary Folder"

Could it be refering to the \Temp folder?
Located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp
I find stuff going into here sometimes (I rarely bother looking in here though).
Again there is one for each user (you might need to have viewing of system files and hidden files on to see the Local Settings folder.)
If not, try searching for the name of the file in the search option on the start bar that should take you to the file if it exists.

There are many temporary folders that could be used. You should be able to fix the files as long as you know the name of the file. You can use Windows Search as below.

If you use Search, you need to do the following:
Click Search and the Select "All files and folders"
Enter the filename in the "All or part of the file name:" box, so enter the file name here.
Now select "More advanced options"
Make sure the following check boxes are checked:
- Search system folders
- Search hidden files and folders
- Search subfolders
Then click the Search button.
