Text as wallpaper?

There's probably a very easy answer to this question which I could figure out if I knew more about computers: Is there a way to compose text and turn it into my wallpaper? I know that I can make text into a screensaver with my W98 by clicking Properties in the Desktop field, clicking "Screen Saver" and finding "Scrolling Marquee" or "3D Text" in the drop-down box. But I can't find something like that for wallpaper. I even envision leaving notes for my spouse on the Desktop. What do you think?

 

There might be a program that allows you to do that pretty conveniently, but when I used to leave notes on my desktop, I would just use the Microsoft Paint program, type up some text, then in the File Menu I just save it and set it as wallpaper. So that is one way to do it.

 

Now that was fast, mikey1120! I tried what you suggested, and it worked just fine. Like you said, there may be a program to do it easier and faster, but it not, Paint certainly can do what I was after. Thanks a lot!
