I have never seen this before.
Friend is running XP Home and keeps getting a message on bootup that says:

    TFTP332 can't be found

I disabled everything in Startup (MSCONFIG) to no avail. It still pops up.

Dont know if it's related but she also can't launch IE. Explorer beings to execute and then shoots an error message and shuts down. I reintsalled IE6 but it still happens.

    Any ideas?

    Linda

Just did some research, and if your friend doesn't upload or download files to an education facility/university with TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol ) then I would suspect malware. I did a search for TFTP332 and two hits were shown. I tried both, and one appears to be a computer at some university. The other was a file not found - error 404.
You might try a search on your friends computer for TFTP.*. That should show any TFTP programs that are running and possibly causing the problem. :)
