I also have MSN Messenger and it really aggravates me most the time.
It takes 'forever' to get signed on and sometimes I don't get signed on at all and get an error message.
Sometimes the Voice doesn't work and I have to close out of messenger and sign back on for it to work.
Sometimes Games don't work and again I must close it out and start over.
I think it's just plain 'buggy'
IMHO
Things have been slightly better since I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but I had to use a reg cleaner to remove some entries left behind that were interfering with the new install.
I just used the Issues tab in CCleaner and ticked the MSN Messenger related items.

Since we installed Windows Live Messenger my daughter and I have had great voice conversations and our web cams work perfectly and the Games work right and.....Holy Cow!...It's just WONDERFUL!

Anyone using the latest one, 8 or whatever it is, or Windows Live Messenger?

If so, what's it like?

I've been using Windows Live Mail in place of Hotmail, and I find it a lot better.
