I had just recieved an update from MS concerning Net 1.1 , and this problem popped up...

I was starting a new thread, when the (fairly) new search routine brought up all the other similar query's from the post (it is a common problem turns out).

The funny thing is I went down the same exact path GFH had down, including the problem listed in his final post. Going back through the list I saw MA's answer to the problem, and realized I had not quite followed instructions exactly, so after doing a restore (at this point my system was pretty mucked up, beyond where GFH had taken it, I followed the simple instructions Major A had list and Walla, no more problem.

I keep recommending this site to other people, and see no reason to change.
