    A week ago either Hubby or Self clicked on something we ought not to have, and things started disappearing from the Desktop. Been there before but couldn't find notes and CD drive not working anyway to re-install stuff, so I was *frustrated*!!!!

    But I used the thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=139313 and went carefully through instructions and now I have email, System Restore, and my DVD player all working again. (For now.)
