Thanks to this Site...

I found this great site a few months ago while trying to fix a friends PC.

Well after a two week vacation back home I ended up fixing...

- my Brother-In-Law's computer (bad CD Rom was causing intermittant HDD problems).

- Father-In-Law's computer (947 trojans & worms, 1100 forms of spyware).

- Friends computer (two teenagers, had numerous bad things installed and about 15 plus start-up programs bogging it down).

I downloaded various utilities to a USB drive since I knew I would be working with dial-up (rural Michigan). None had any up to date protection.

Thanks to all for the knowledge and content this site provides.

Around the time I got my first PC I was heavily into hunting and was making alot of jerky myself. Ended up with various e-mails and logins as Jerkyking... just kept it. Haven't made any in awhile... to humid.

a friend of my brother's gave him some deer meat, and he made deer jerky with his food dehydrator... some of the best jerky i've ever tasted (properly seasoned of course)

 

When I worked for Intuit, 99% of the time the problem with their software was conflicting programing, so I doled out about 1000 referrals and waged a personal war against Norton Anti-Virus. I had so many people here downloading AVG instead that it was miraculous. I would have them download it, download Lavasoft, and then run both, disable and uninstall norton, clear out the start up, restart and boom. It was so fun listening to people say - Oh my god, it started up so fast! it's working so much better now! and then my damn program either started or didnt - it was a shitty program.
