Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

 

And "Everybody" means you too. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

So, the question is, thus: Why are we celebrating thanksgiving? Are we thankful for our country?

Or are we Thankful that we can eat lotsa food, without worring about our waists?

Depends on who you ask.

Whether you're religious or not, it's good for the soul to reflect from time to time on the good things we have. And we all have things to be thankful for. Compared to how most of the world lives, the poorest of us is rich.

And don't forget...the grand feast on this so-called turkey day, is what brought the new settlers together with the already here indians!!

Personally...I think it is just a GOOD excuse to get together with your good friends and family and reflect how thankfull one should be for being surround by those you are spending the day with, so you might as well cook a boatload of food to feed everyone while they are hanging out!!!

And while we're at it...you might as well take friday off too, and get a 4 day weekend out of it!! Atleast government employees anyway!!
