That darn google redirect

Hello and thanks in advance for anything you can tell me.

About three days ago I noticed some searches I made with Google on Firefox were redirecting me to advertising sites. The icon on the address line was showing a strange green globe-like figure... I doubt that helps but it's been taunting me for three days now and I just needed to expose his snide little shape to the elements.

I've gone through the "Read and run me first" guide but, alas, this little tormentor keeps... well, tormenting! I'll attach the logs from the files you stated here.

I also noticed that my computer is now showing four dvd/cd drives... I only have two. I hadn't noticed this until just now posting this message.

 

My apologies! It seems I had forgotten to run the Combo-fix program as I couldn't find the log for it. I ran the program and it fixed my problem! Thanks for the prompt folks! You guys rock.
