that safeiepage.com won't stop!

Okay, I've been sitting here for the past 5 hours trying to figure this out!

Yesterday I began getting nonstop popups for security things with security programs I didn't download.. and my homepage on my IE browser automatically goes to safeiepage.com every single time, with that pop up about W32.Myzor.FK@yf virus.

I have gone through exhaustive steps and it still isn't gone.

I followed all the steps in that Read and Run Me First thread, downloading all sorts of things, booting in safe mode, running CCleaner, Windows Malicious Software Remover, SpyBot SD, Windows Defender. Then I tried the online BitDefender and Panda thingys.

Some stuff was found, AltNet, Claria.GAIN, WebHancer, Tob.Rebates, and all removed. But the main problem is still going.

I downloaded Hijack this. Renamed the unzipped file as directed, ran a scan, and a bunch of stuff came up. I don't know what to delete and what to not delete, so I haven't done anything with it yet.

I do know that the problems files (which are running in my Task Manager and I can't end the processes or delete them) are in

C:\Program Files\VideoCompressionCodec...
isaddon.dll isamini.exe isamonitor.exe

I can't figure out how to delete them. I always get error messages about them being protected or in use.

So I am out of ideas. I don't want to have to lug the CPU into a store and pay someone to do this if there is a way I can do it myself.

so PLEASE pretty Please, HELP?! I think I have successfully uploaded my hijackthis log.

Is there anything else I should do??

I just wanted to say I think the problem has been solved!!!!

I read through many threads with similar problems as my own, and I think it was the SmitFraudFix which finally cleaned up the problem.

Hopefully I won't need to be back anytime soon
