The Application Was Unable To Start Correctly 0xc00007b

i have encountered such strange phenomenon.
recently i was unable to run some of my games. not recectly installed, but existing games.
that means i can run it before no issue whatsoever. but now i just cant run them somehow.
it says "the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b"
tried many kind of fix from simple restart to using tweaking.com windows repair.
NONE of them fixed it.


in my understanding, there must be some dll files misplacement on system32 or wow64
but i dont know which one.
recently i placed xinput1_3.dll, now the some of error occured became simple crash at start up, and some still have 0xc00007b.

should i reconsider reinstall windows completly ?

extra : i tried to reinstall one of the game but it says my visual c++ 2008 out of date, and i got error visual c++ 2008 sp1 cannot be installed in this operating system, even tho i already installed 2008 version.

how come the game that i can install and played before got this kind of message when reinstall? that doesnt make any sense.

There are several reasons for the error 0xc00007b to pop up. The most common cause of this error is the incompatibility between the 32-bit applications and the 64-bit with your system. An example of this is when a 32-bit application tries to execute itself on a 64-bit system.
As you said you have already installed Visual C++ 2008, you have to check which version of Visual C++ 2008 you have installed. Tried to install both version 32bit as well as 64bit.
If this solution doesn't work then tried to download the missing dll file again in both version 32 and 64 bit and replace it in respective folder into windows directory.
