Not quite, you can use a computer just fine and never get a virus. You just have to completely avoid connecting to the internet. Or avoid connecting with Windows, at least until they start writing malware for the other operating systems.

you can get a virus through cd/dvd's that you download.So you would have to steer clear of all that.: I'll take my chance and the challange just so I can enjoy my computer.

 

Can honestly say I haven't had a virus, (of the computer kind) in years, and I'm on the net a LOT – though many have tried..

I've only had one malware which was disguised as an open-source program. I bittorrented it as an ISO and burned onto a CD and popped it into the optical drive and all these windows started popping up and I had to reinstall.
