I'm having a major issue. I had posted on the forum about blue screen errors and was told that I might have to update my Bios in order to fix (or begin to fix) the errors. So I found the process to update my Bios and started. After the install wizard (provided by the maker of the motherboard, Asus) had deleted the old bios, I got a blue screen crash mid way through it installing the new bios. Now I can turn the power on to my computer but nothing happens except the lights come on. The bios tells the computer where to boot from, and what to turn on, Without Bios my computer is lobotomized.
Is there any hope of fixing this, or is my computer dead.

Which Asus motherboard do you have?

Many have removable PROMs, which can be programmed (flashed) with the proper tools and software whilst not in the mobo.
