    Hello all,

I'm looking to upgrade my computer this christmas and I'm going to go for a new graphics card. I currently have an ATI x600 which is performing poorly. So, I read some reviews, mainly on here: http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/GTREVIEW/powercolor.htm

And I understood that I will need a new PSU as well. I currently have a 300W one that came with my computer. So I will go for this one: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/st...sku=539523&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&tabIndex=1

I read some reviews and thought that PSU was good. Any other suggestions?

Okay, so I will buy this graphics card: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3Jldmlld3M=&product_uid=118618 as it seems within my buget and the reviews categorize it as a good performing video card.

    One of my questions is:
Will I have irremediable problems fitting this graphics card into my Motherboard?
I noticed that it says "Outputs on the Powercolor X1900GT come in the form of two DVI's and TV out", however, I have a standard Samsung SyncMaster 193v monitor, not sure what the output is, but it's the old standard blue 15 PIN one. How will this fit into this graphics card? Is there an adapter?

Would be very grateful if you could answer these questions as fast as possible :). Thank You!

tell us what mo/bo you have
Anyway, I suggest that you hold your horses for a few months. DirectX 10 is coming out and together with it a bunch of new hardware. If you invest on a VGA today it will soon be outdated. Wait for the new generation and pick one of those ;)

Hmm, I'm not sure how to find out the type of Motherboard. It's a Gigabyte one, managed to take a picture:

The arrow is pointing to my x600 graphics card.

As for waiting for the new generation, I'm sure the new hardware will be amongst £200-300 so I won't be able to afford that :p. I thought I'd get one now that the prices are dropping.

The new cards won't be necessarylly expensive. As far as I know there will be new series in all levels. You know how it goes, it was x600 then x1600 maybe x2600 will come out :confused:

I would still like an answer to how would my monitor plug fit into this graphics card if I have the standard "blue" socket ones.
