I need help getting images to load in my browser. The problem affects both of my browsers, IE and Firefox. I'm on WinXP SP2, and I'm using Norton Personal Firewall Plus on a DSL connection. Many images will not load, including the top/center red "Yahoo!" of my homepage. It's very frustrating, and I'm unable to find a solution. Many advertisements will not show up, either. I want all content to load. How do I fix this?

Hey, thanks. I solved the problem right after posting my question. I had been reading an earlier thread (2002) about cleaning the host file, which I had never even heard of; had been searching for a solution for weeks. You know what I did? I was looking at the host file in notepad, and the asterisks threw me -- I thought I was only looking at an example file, then it occurred to me to delete all the crap under localhost beneath the example portion. So you solved my problem already. Thanks you.

Life seems sometimes to run in circles, well glad you got things working.
