The Dreaded ZLOB Trojan

    I'm currently running the online virus scans sugegsted in the "READ AND RUN ME FIRST" thread. But while I do that, I'd like to know if there is a known working program that is capable of removing this trojan horse.

    I have finished the READ AND RUN ME FIRST THREAD.

    So here are.. some results. NO HJT log yet.

    Depending on the variant of Zlob which changes weekly, it is mentioned in the Special Removal Procedures sticky which is reference in the READ & RUN ME. You will see Win32.Zlob mentioned.

    For some newer forms, we use SmitFraudFix. Search this forum for SmitFraudFix and you will see the two step process using it.

    Also you need to attach the PandaActiveScan log and your HJT log.
