What ya think??.... good geek movie IMHO.....all but the lightning part ( im REALY big on lightning ) read here under lightning attraction myths.. I realy dont get the " plane isent grounded" thing ( lightning hits air planes all the time while thare flying and thay dont explode read here and here ) ...but the bigest thing that bugs me is the 60Hz hum from the lightning !! BTW, has Hollywood run out of fresh ideas? Most of what they do seems to be remakes of old movies or movies based on comic books.

 

LOL - I'm with you on this! I've seen the new one, but I still like the original better. Of course, it's hard to top Stewart in the role.

I didn't get the whole lightning thing, either, by the way.

 

Talking of planes .....
I do wish they would show "Sole Survivor" again.
The only William Shatner thing worth seeing; all about guys who don't know that they are dead and disappear once their bodies are found.

Don't mind giving the plot away since chances of seeing it again are nil

 

Oh that would SO annoy me. Planes don't explode when they get hit by lightning, or I wouldn't have an uncle or an aunt. They've been hit while piloting airliners many, many times, and most of the time its not a big event.

And humming lightning... well its good to see natural discharges are complying with out power transmission guidelines

 

Cool flick. I saw that years ago and loved it. Haven't seen it again.
