That little lady sure put everything into perspective, didn't she?! I guess that old cliche' still has a ring of truth to it, "Out of the mouth of babes comes the truth of the world!' Thanks Sikvik for the link. It's just too bad that our leaders haven't the same dedication, or common sense, as a 12 year old.

Political point.. nope. Motivated.. good chance. My daughter is younger than that girl. I'm always getting GUFF from her - in regards to wasting electricity, gas, using non recyclable stuff, smoking, drinking and what not.

This is pretty much inculcated in today's generation, at school.

Well she says she is speaking for a group she is a member of, a group composed of 12 and 13 year olds.
I see it as a compassionate child (had one myself) who is worried about their future.

 

Very moving and like others my 14,13 and now the 11 yr old grand are always asking me why do adults do just the opposite of what they say or tell children,as the girl said, not to do and the only answer i can come up with is because they were probably raise the same way and did not know any different.
