Had to smile at this titbit of rag panic:

The great man drought is now official: it's never been harder for women in their 30s and 40s to find a decent single bloke.

Sydney is particularly tough for women seeking a partner.

Latest census figures reveal the depth of Australia's gender imbalance. Until the age of 30 there are many more men than women, but after the age of 30 the gender balance flips, with more women than men.

Where are they? Well, really keen city gals are going bush, because apparently in some isolated pockets, guys outnumber gals. (Um...count me out...I'm strictly a city gal:p)

    Anyone overseas have this imbalance?

Perhaps some single guys are interested in coming Down Under to flip back the balance?;) Surely would put a smile on some of these distressed damsels.:D

I see...coy huhLOL So whisper in my ear where you fellas are hangin' out and I'll tell a select few because these Census blokes are starting a panic stampede into the bush or overseas by some of these damsels in search of greener pastures...:D

Actually it's fact, based on Census data. In Sydney, suburbs close by mine are hardest hit...reckon that's why most of my friends end up with younger male partners;)LOL Not the bush for them either:D

We are about ~ But those of us still kickin' are very cautious! lol! :D

More seriously? - Well it is a biological fact that there is slightly greater chance of a male being conceived than a female. This, however, tends to be counter-balanced by the general fact(s) that males are slightly more likely to die and tend to not live as long ,<why am I not surprised, here?> rolleyes. It could be that medical advances in recent decades are, generally extending the lifespan and survival rate of males more. I dunno. I don't have any data to support/refute this.

roflmao That may be a contributing factorLOL (I don't believe that type of info is gathered in a Census.)
