I was... at... a Furry convention... learning better living through yiffing. Yeah.. that's it. That's where I was. Ignore the blood on my shoes.

 

Yiffing, I had to google that. Urban dictionary set me straight on that now to find a way to insult someone in real life with it.

Also, cake does nothing for me, I don't even like to have a piece at my own birthday. Apple pie, that's a different story.

 

The lounge is not dead. It simply went home to it's alien planet, along with Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa.

 

Be careful of what you ask for TimW! Merely uttering the names of motc7 and Zack will probably be enough to bring them back to life! :-D

 

The lounge may be sparse at the moment .. maybe because it is summer time and everyone is having a good time outdoors... in a few months, the geeks will come back ....

Welp, it's mid-winter in these parts, but every other person seems to have the Flu, a.t.m. Yep, it's been pretty quiet on this board for a while, now. It happens.

 

I prefer a staid quality for the lounge as that will engender more thought provoking and informative posts.

It was on a few days ago, actually, and I was thinking of something bizarre to say. I think i nailed it.

Phantom is on the North Western side of OZ (IIRC). I am on the North Eastern side of OZ. In FNQ, where I am, it has been freezing for us. Down to an unusual 10°C (50°F) overnights. Now to a more reasonable 17-20°C (62-68°F) overnight in this first month of Winter. :-D Maximums have fallen to around 27°C (80°F) against 30°C (86°F) which is usual for Summer here.

As for rain, most falls in our WET season. We, in FNQ, experience our WET from around Nov-Dec to April-May each year. The WET varies depending on our location. In Northern Territory (NT) it it is from Oct-April.

Where Phantom lives, it is probably the same as the NT.

About snow, it falls in the Southern mainland state of Victoria mainly, and has started already.

Nope, not in the south West, where I am, anyway. Big-time hail and frost is about as cold as it gets. And torrential downpours. Gotta love the weather around here. Spends eight months drying the garden into a dust-bowl, then washes anything living away with pouring rain. But hey, I got weeds! rolleyes.

I have nothing to share since the only exciting thing going on isn't really going on.

The new house was supposed to be done for the summer. The port-o-potty pretty much sums it up.

If the dog ate the cat, then you need the lion to scare the dog to throw up the cat. And an elephant to get rid of the lion. And the mouse to get rid of the elephant.

 

You Aussies make me sick.. But I love you anyway. As of March 7th we had 173.5 inches of snow and it continued to snow, if not collect, until May. The temperature routinely Dropped to -30°F and stayed pretty constant in the mid to low teens from October when it started, to March, Except one freak week in January when it warmed up to like 60.

I hate winter here. We have 8 months of Winter, a month of Mud, and 3 months of Bipolar. Today its 60-something°, it will be 85°F like tomorrow. Hehe.. the healthcare industry is rolling in dough here

I keep asking myself why I don't move, and then I remember I hate snakes, spiders, heat, humidity, hurricanes, tornadoes, and Earthquakes WAY more than I hate snow

I really don't like Earthquakes and Tornadoes as you DON'T get any warning with them. Most other stuff I can put up with, except cold weather.

Too many years in Tropical areas and my blood has thinned out too much.
No winter clothes either. :-D
