    Awesome. I do that too. I'm working with digital mostly, so I can remove the under layers, but it's helpful because I can then see where the skin and clothing should lay.

    I was in class with a student who drew backwards. He drew the hand, then several more so a pencil appeared to be erasing down to the bone. It was completely awesome.
