I hate when you are messing with your favorites, every edit causes the menu to disappear. In MSIE, when you edit a favorite (rename, delete, etc) the menu stays expanded and you can continue to edit. Is there any work around for this in Firefox?

there are tons of Firefox Extensions about bookmarks and favorites. I havent used any, so I dont have a recommendation, but take a look, i'm sure you'll find something more to your liking :)

You could do that in the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+B, or View > Sidebar > Bookmarks) or go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks ("Manage Bookmarks" in older versions) to open the Bookmarks Manager. Lotta people complain about this, but it's not that much extra work.
