This is an outstanding merlot for less than $15. I was shocked. The low price must be because its local. That makes me happy since that means I can get more easily.

Ch. Clarke is a French Bordeaux. It is mainly a Merlot based Bordeaux. $40 or so a bottle, maybe more.

French Boreaux's congtain a combination of: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Frank, Verdot, or Malbec grapes or a subset of them.

I tend to like the Cab based ones better, Mimsy might disagree!:cool
