Being an Oregon Duck fan it could NEVER be the Beavers, so I say the Hedgehog

 

someone once told me i was like a hedge hog, warm and soft on the inside and covered in prickles on the outside which i considered defence against the world....only to be squashed by juggernauts.

Definitely the MeerKat, they're my favourite animal.

Very cute, they make adorable chirping sounds, and have a great social structure where they all look after, and protect, each other.
