   I always tip 15-17% and for those waitstaff where I live, they are amazed I don't leave a single dollar for a $50 meal like many others.....
   
   They earn less than the min of $6.75 and need the tips to survive- leave a tip even for bad services. It might brighten their day and increase future service levels!
