Friday: Making dinner and unwinding after work, probably play Dragon Age and enjoy melon martinis. Boss fights are more fun with alcohol! :wine Also, MUST remember to buy Mother's Day present

Saturday: Mother's Day celebration one day early, with The Guy's parents. Breakfast together with presents, and then movie with the family. Hopefully also play Dragon Age.

Sunday: Sleep in as long as humanly possible. Spend rest of day in Ferelden, killing darkspawn by the dozen.

Tonight - continuing on the jewelry-making trend (I've been averaging six pieces a day)

Tomorrow - HOUSE TO MYSELF! :-D Then watching hockey.

Sunday - cleaning the house from top to bottom for mom's present, then making her a fabulous dinner. Probably also making more jewelry.

I've got absolutely nothing planned, really.

Today- came home from work & took a nap.. I am contemplating going back to sleep :-D

Saturday - I am hoping my new jewelery supplies come in the mail today, then I can get started working on my bracelet and earring set for the dinner I am going to in June. Maybe talk a walk with a friend/picnic in the park or more sleeping :-D

Sunday - Church... and maybe more sleeping :-D

Plans completely changed. Friday night, while I'm happily playing Dragon Age, The Guy gets a completely unexpected phone call from an old friend he hasn't seen in years and years. Rushed out to buy the Mother's Day gift and lots of beer, got the poker set out of the garage and played cards and got caught up on the changes in each others' lives and generally had a blast until way, way, to late. Got to bed around 5 AM... and had to get less than four hours later to do the Mother's Day breakfast celebration. Head felt like lots of :banghead and :hammer had been done while I was sleeping... ugh.

At least we missed the rush we'd have had to deal with tomorrow, and I was happy to discover that the breakfast cafe does endless coffee refills as long as you've bought one cup. Vastly improved the hangover, to the point where the movie was very enjoyable. Now I know how to train a dragon. :)

    I'm watching Drunken Master. :)

They showed a preview of the new Karate Kid movie before the dragon movie, and it actually looks like it could be good. I'm confused about why they're calling it "the Karate Kid" though since it looked a lot like he was teaching the kid kung fu. Jackie Chan doesn't do karate. But that put me in the mood to watch Drunken Master, so now I'm doing that, while attempting to cure what's left of the hangover by having a melon martini. :wine

Well, I only get Sundays off, so cleaning up the house in between catching up in this forum and a few others.

Sunday, go grocery shopping, get the chicken marinated, do laundry, meet my friends for lunch, then we go to the range and site in my new Trijicon night sights and shoot other various lead projecting devices, go home, cook for Mother's day, take food and wine to the folks house, eat, then back to more house cleaning and such, then off to play computer games while drinking V8-Splash Strawberry Kiwi and Gin.

Oh, and clean the guns I shoot. Got a new spring for Jesus, looks like his stuttering problem is solved. :-D (Used to Jam, Remington sent it out with the wrong magazine spring in it...)

Our cat just fell into the bath tub.

I'm here at my computer, patiently researching stuff, and suddenly hear this startled "OW!" from the bathroom followed by lots of splashing and a string of angry expletives from The Guy. I drop what I'm doing and run to the bathroom, where I find the man in my life standing next to the bath tub in a small lake of water, his feet and lower legs bleeding generously into the puddle around his feet, and his mood not the best, to put it mildly.

Turns out he was having a very nice relaxing bath, dozing off happily, when the ever-curious and social cat goes up on the edge of the bath tub, begins to wander back and forth on the edge, and slips and falls into the water. Relaxing baths apparently become very stressful when you add a panicking ball of fur with sharp claws everywhere fighting desperately to get out... which is exactly what cats turn into when they unexpectedly fall into a filled bath tub.

I played nurse and poured burning disinfectant over The Guy's feet and legs, and then we started calling for the cat. She reluctantly came, drenched to the bone and shivering, and "crying" in that oh so miserable heart wrenching voice that only cats can ever manage. Especially when drenched. We wrapped her in a warm towel and managed to get most of the water out of her fur (what wasn't already spread all over every floor in the house!) and toweled off the worst "damage". The cat is now on the bed, furiously grooming her fur in desperate attempts to get it back to normal. The Guy is unwinding away from the bath tub, with a good book and a martini.

    Happy weekend everyone... LOL

Absolutely! Although I have been known to start with beads that were too cool to not buy, then make something, then go shopping to find an outfit for it. LOL
