The weekend thread 2.0

It's that time...the weekend...what are you doing?

Tonight - Start cleaning out the Sarlac Pit known as the closet under the stairs.

Saturday - Mow and trim the yard if it's not too wet. Reorganize some areas of the garage.

Sunday - Church in the morning and the evening. ending the fast I've been on that night with a triple meat Whataburger.

 

Not a lot happening here, pretty much just laying around and thinking what will happen Monday, I have an appointment with the bone specialist.

They have replaced my left hip twice now and it still aint right so maybe it's time for number 3.

 

Tell them you want a hip like Jean Claude Van Damm...so you can roundhouse kick people who disagree with you! lol

Seriously, hope all goes well.

 

But wouldn't that make him walk like a girl? :-D

Well I'm working Saturday as usual but both myself and the missus have Sunday off so I think some relaxation is in order although I do need to fix the washer line on my car and I have a laptop that needs sorting out.... Oh and I also have worlds to conquer and dastardly beings to kill :strong

 

I have sorta got used to it now as it's been an ongoing thing for over 10 years.
I have more spare parts than an old Ford.

 

tonight: fixing the wireless (1 hour?) then going to grandmas (2hours):eek staying there overnight
saturday: non-internet homework :cry i will suffer withdrawl symptoms. put up with grandma all day :hammer (wahey) then come home sleep...
sunday: at dads house, internet homework :-D (unless i fix the wireless quickly in which case i might do some homework tonight) then swimmm for a bit and finally roast dinner :cool

all weekend i will also be recovering from: carrying heavy textbooks all week, playing hockey against argentinians and getting up early

oh the joys of being back at school.

 

Since I'm back to work... Today, catching up on online responsibilities, then doing a show tonight.

Saturday, two shows.

Sunday, two shows and a loadout. Should come to about 30 hours.

 

Tonight I'm going out to eat with my parents, shouldn't take too long, but it's always a good time. Fancy food & lots of laughs.

Saturday is the 1 year anniversary since I filed for my now finalized divorce. I'm not sure how to properly commemorate it, but I think I'm fixing a computer at a friends house sometime during the day, and since she's pretty spectacular, I'm going to try and stretch it into half a day if I can. LOL

I don't have any plans Sunday. I usually don't. Shouldn't be a bad day though.

Today: advertising my sites and services as much as possible, because my company is sucking ... oh, my Grandma and Grandpa are comming over (I call grandpa G-Unit)

Tomorrow: Marching Band.. blech. Stupid football game.

Sunday: Going to see Jeanette's Mom's softball game, then hanging out with her. It's going to be 6 weeks on Monday =D

 

Friday: Helped The Guy set up the new surround-sound system so we can have both 360 and PS3 connected to the main 62-inch TV. It's beautiful and sexy now.

Saturday: Playing more Portal.

Sunday: Taking The Guy to the airport for a week-long business trip. Sad...

 

Since I am actually off this weekend (well, after 0700EST I will be) I am going to attempt the following:

Run some electrical wiring in a bedroom, adding an electical outlet and installing a ceiling fan . . . this should be the last of the knob-and-tube wiring left in the house, except in what used to be a maid's pantry just off the kitchen. There is still one of the old twist light switches there . . . I'm leaving it.

If I get that done, I plan on attacking my basement workshop, and get it better organized . . . need to run some wiring there also for a couple new outlets - but what could be easier; it's right by the box. If I get tired of that I'm going to start work on the kids old room in the basement - I intend to turn it into my study/den/PC work area/inner sanctum . . . MAN CAVE, in other words :-D.

Actually - if I get the wiring in the bedroom done, I'll consider myself a winner!

This weekend its a stay at home with girlfriend weekend.
Friday-Got some food and stuff to make/eat this weekend/got few movies as well to watch tomarrow. Now its Sat morning and time for bed.
Sat-Going to make some food on grill. Then smores afterwards while watching movie/drinking.
Sunday-Play games and do some Black Friday thinking.

 

clean-up the shop
sawdust sucks...........and clogs
deliver scrap wood to guys at the hardware store so they can burn it for heat this winter.
receive, in return, some venison.
antelope steak tonight.
