Themes problem

OK so i downloaded a theme to use but it didnt work.
I installed it properly and when I right clicked and selected the theme in the tab it sad this "The theme could not be loaded because the theme service is not running. You can turn the sevice on in the Computer Managment Administratice Tool."
So I went to the tool and found the theme service and when I go to start it it says "Could not start the Themes service on Local Computer. Error 1059: Circular service dependency was specified."confused
Could I get some help. The only theme that I can use is the old windows 98 theme. I cant find the normal one either.
Also just adding that in the dependency tab for the Theme service it says it has no dependencies.
So any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Do you use Xp?If yes,is there any chance that you disable theme s service?Run this servise and set to automaticaly.

 

click START / CONTROL PANEL / APPEARANCE AND THEMES / CHANGE THE COMPUTERS THEME there you can see what themes you have installed.http://www.smileyhut.com/friends/hiya.gif

 

When I try to run the service it says

I just got an update from microsoft and it seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for the help though.
