Think my GF has put a keylogger on

Not sure yet but I think my GF has put a keylogger on my machine. Will the first start "Read Me Run Me" root that out or should I take a different tack?

She has had information she would only have from spying on my personal correspondence. Either she has figured out my pw's or has logged me. I have nothing to hide but regardless don't apreciate the breach. Have been through the RMRM before so it won't be a problem. How will I know if I have indeed been compromised and if true I have removed it?

Keyloggers work exactly like malware, they install stealth and are designed to be hidden. As Chaslang said (not to step on his toes here) but a lot of the read me first would find it. You might pay special attention to any rootkit tools as well. I would think Superantispyware or Malwarebytes would discover it if you want to try and take a shortcut.

Optionally, if you know your processes well, it might be found there, but thats a lot of detective work.

Depending on your geek level, Mcafee has this trojan listed which is similar to most keyloggers and might give you some ideas should the above fail.
