I have an hp officejet 4500. It gobbles ink. Both color and B&W. We really do not use it much. I know about the "your ink is low" scam, but this thing won't print. So I have two questions: 1) can anyone recommend another printer thaat gobbles less ink? 2) a cheap place to buy ink - usually we use Sams Place. Thanks.

I buy all my ink cartridges from Rima (Generic) - http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?

I thought I archived this font, when it was free

but I can't find it.
It prints lots of holes in each letter to save ink.

If I find it, I'll send a link so you can install and see how you like it.

Hi,

Not sure but I have heard that some new printers come with cartridges that are not really full and do give out very soon. Google it. You may get some definite feed back.
